I am fully insured through Protectivity Insurance. Proof of insurance is available on request.
You can also find and book me via Cat In a Flat although I do not recommend booking through that platform as they charge both parties extra fees. My prices are inclusive of insurance.

Stacy’s Pet Sitting Services

1. Services

1. • Pet sitting visits (single or double daily) as booked.

   • House sitting & security and plant watering included.

   • Optional add-ons such as medication administration, care for additional small animals and holiday return packages.

2. Bookings

1. • All bookings are confirmed once payment is received (or deposit where applicable). 

   • Deposits (where required for bookings over 7 days) are non-refundable if cancelled less than 14 days before the start date.

   • Full payment for the entire sitting should be paid no more than 24 hours before the sit starts.

3. Cancellation Policy

I try to be as flexible as possible, but longer bookings mean I often turn down other work or change personal plans.

• Bookings up to 6 days: No cancellation fee (please just give as much notice as you can).

• Bookings of 7+ days:

  • A 25% deposit is required at time of booking.

  • Cancel 14+ days before start date → deposit refundable.

  • Cancel less than 14 days before start date → deposit non-refundable.

  • I may still offer flexibility depending on the situation! 

4. Pet health & emergencies

1. • Any medical needs must be disclosed before booking.

   • Emergency contact details must be provided if you are leaving the country.

   • In the event of an emergency, I will seek veterinary attention for your pet. Veterinary costs are the responsibility of the owner.

5. Liability

1. • Stacy’s Pet Sitting Services holds valid Public Liability Insurance.

   • While every effort will be made to provide the highest level of care, I cannot be held responsible for illness, injury, loss, or death of pets that occurs outside of my reasonable control.

   • Clients remain responsible for any veterinary fees or third-party costs arising from their pet’s actions.

   • I am fully insured to care for pets in your home and to hold keys for property access.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters.

• I collect your contact details (name, phone, address, email) and basic pet information (names, health notes, routines) solely to provide pet sitting services.

• Your information is never sold, shared, or used for marketing without your consent.

• Data is stored securely and only for as long as necessary to provide services and meet legal obligations.

• You can request access to or deletion of your data at any time by contacting me.

Data Protection (GDPR) Policy

Stacy’s Pet Sitting Services complies with UK GDPR.

• Data collected: client names, addresses, contact info, pet care notes, and emergency contacts.

• Legal basis: information is processed for the performance of the contract (to care for your pets).

• Storage: data is stored securely (digitally and/or paper records).

• Retention: information is kept only as long as necessary for business records.

• Your rights: you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data at any time.

• Data breaches: in the unlikely event of a breach, I will notify affected individuals and the ICO where legally required.
